Join Teach Access for a Free two-day Virtual Workshop on Accessibility on February 20th-21st, 2025. Individual sessions will occur from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM PT)!
All students are welcome to attend. Whether you are enrolled in a college or university or are a lifelong learner, this workshop will increase your knowledge about accessibility. An Overview of Accessible Digital Communication, presented by Jenny Kowalski, Assistant Professor at Lehigh University
The vast majority of communication today takes place online: websites, social media, digital forms, videos, audio. Every form of digital communication comes with accessibility needs. This presentation will provide an overview of fundamental accessibility skills with a focus on accessible approaches to different forms of digital communication.
About Jenny Kowalski
Jenny Kowalski teaches courses on graphic design and user experience design at Lehigh University. Her work explores interactions between text and image, between designer and audience, and between physical and digital space. Her research interests include design for accessibility, creative coding, and tactile craft.
