Congrats Emily!
We are excited to announce that our intern, Emily Paterson, graduated this month from Michigan State University’s College of Arts and Letters with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Experience Architecture and Professional & Public Writing. This summer, Emily will be a Junior Fellow at the Library of Congress! She will be working to help advance their Year of Digital Accessibility program.

NEW Self-Paced Course!
We just launched a new self-paced course on Content Development. This course is designed to help people create content that is accessible and inclusive. The goal is to support faculty to learn about these topics and feel more prepared to integrate them into their own courses.
Visit the Teach Access Course Market page to sign up for this or other courses.

Digication Partnership
Teach Access is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with Digication, a leading ed tech company serving millions of users across more than 7,000 K-12 schools and higher education institutions. This collaboration will transform the digital learning landscape by integrating accessibility literacy into educational practices. Digication users can watch a short video of Teach Access staff and interns explaining the importance of digital accessibility, access tip sheets about creating an accessible portfolio, and easily click on the Teach Access website for more information.
Teach Access Student Academy
The Teach Access Student Academy was a new program launched in September 2023 and consisted of virtual monthly webinars for students to explore a variety of topics on disability and accessibility. In total, we had 271 students from over 150 colleges and universities register to be a part of this learning series.
On Friday, April 12th, we held the final session of the Teach Access Student Academy, a Careers in Accessibility Panel. Students heard from accessibility professionals about their experiences working in the field of accessibility, which included hearing about their biggest challenges, biggest successes, and advice or lessons they have learned along the way. This session and the 6 previous sessions are available for viewing on the Student Academy YouTube Playlist.
